Each Friday we meet at Hayfield School for a game of football, on the astroturf, it is usually 5 or 6 aside.
The minimum age is 14 and we have no upper limit, our oldest player started drawing his old age pension 4 years ago.
We are a complete mixture of abilities and often have a game of the old uns v the young uns, however, the important thing is that we have some fun in a friendly atmosphere and get fitter at the same time.
You don’t have to be a part of the church to come along. It’s a great chance to invite friends and build relationships in a non church environment.
It’s £3 per week (£2 for students or unwaged) with first week free!
Throughout the year we arrange friendly 11 a side games against other local church based organisations, often with a social activity to follow, in addition we arrange curry nights and join in other evangelistic events organised by the church.
